This exit list contains both the new exit number and former sequential exit number after MassDOT converted I-495 to the Geographic Reference or Milepost Exit Numbering system in June 2021. Work proceeded in 4 sections, one section was completed before moving on, they were, from south to north:I-195 to I-95, I-95 to I-90, I-90 to US 3 and US 3 to I-95. MassDOT started converting exit numbers on highways in October 2020 with routes in the eastern and southern parts of the state. This project was first planned for 2016, but eventually postponed.
